Great piece, thanks for sharing. Can relate in a lot of ways. I do a lot of writing in my day job (and my day job before that), but have never been able to come to terms with what it would take to actually make even a modest amount of money writing online, so I continue to use it as nothing but an occasional outlet. Appreciate your "forget about the stats and money and keep going if it makes you happy" mentality.
